Jon Williams Set To Give Food For Thought At International Conferences

Aquapharm is making waves in the food and drinks world thanks to its research into functional food ingredients.

The company is gaining increasing worldwide recognition for its expertise in this area, with Business Development Director Jon Williams set to deliver key presentations at two major conferences this year.

The first event on the calendar is next month's Vitafoods Europe Conference, a global nutraceutical event taking place in Geneva from May 10-12.

Jon will deliver a talk entitled Natural Preservatives from the Sea which will discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with developing preservatives from marine sources; as well as consumer demand for novel, natural sources of preservatives.

He will also give a fascinating insight into the untapped potential of the marine environment as well as pointers on navigating the current regulatory landscape.

Jon has also been called upon to speak at the forthcoming Marine Ingredients: Oceans of Opportunity conference which takes place in London on June 22.

The event aims to discuss the growing body of research indicating the potential use of the marine environment as a unique source of functional food ingredients.  Its speakers will help to explore what makes these ingredients so unique, how they can be used in foods, and the benefits of using them.
