Dr Andrew Mearns Spragg FRSA :: CEO
Company founder who has managed its growth from university spin out to a company employing 14 staff. Since 2004, he has raised over £6M in equity and grant finance  and has achieved recognition in his work and business approach through a RSE enterprise fellowship, SMART award, John Logie Baird and a number of successful grant and commercial deals.

Dr Ron James :: Chairman
A seasoned life sciences non- executive director, Ron brings a wealth of experience to the Board having previously been both a venture capitalist and later a biotech entrepreneur. As its CEO, he built PPL Therapeutics from a small vc backed spinout to a quoted company employing 200 staff in three countries with drugs in phase II trials.

Mr Patrick Krol :: Non - Executive Director
A healthcare marketing & market intelligence specialist and entrepreneur.  As founder and managing director of Firm United Healthcare he was responsible for growing the company to become a market leader.  He also co-founded two other healthcare ventures: Interactive Healthcare and Healthcare Management School and after selling his stake is now director of healthcare at Fleishman-Hillard.  Patrick has guided over 30 pharma and biotech companies to successfully introduce or grow their products

Dr Simon Barnes :: Non - Executive Director
Managing Partner of Tate & Lyle Ventures. Simon has a background in life sciences venture capital, first with Atlas Venture and subsequently with GIMV Venture Capital where he focused on early stage life sciences ventures.  He has invested in a number of university spin outs including Renovo, the University of Manchester spin out and has held board positions in several venture capital backed biotechnology companies.

Dr John White: Non – Executive Directors
After an early career at DERA Malvern and as Technical Manager at Marconi, he was appointed Managing Director of CRL in 1993. He led an MBO from Thorn EMI, Scipher plc, which was successfully floated on the London Stock Market in 2000. His expertise includes, commercialisation of intellectual property and the development of high technology companies.
